CHRA, actuator, kit, or complete turbo from the catalog. Workshop price on the page. Not for retail drivers.
Why rebuild instead of buying new?
A rebuild keeps the housings that already fit the downpipe and the intake when they are still serviceable. It can cost less than a full replacement. It is the right call when the rotating assembly or seals failed and the castings are round. It is the wrong call when the turbine housing is cracked or the compressor cover is eaten.
If the housing is finished, quote a remanufactured or new complete turbo, or a CHRA when the housings are still good. See complete turbo vs CHRA.
Which symptoms need a diagnosis?
These often point at the turbo, but other faults can look the same. Send the symptom with the tag photo so the desk does not guess.
- Power loss or flat boost
- Whistle, grind, or unusual noise from the turbo
- Excess smoke
- Oil use or oil in the intake
- Shaft play you can feel at the compressor nut
- Stuck VNT or dead actuator
- Visible damage to the unit
Before you send the turbo
Message first. Do not ship a core cold. Use the Quote a rebuild button so the number is the site WhatsApp. Photograph the compressor plate. Wipe the stamp. See identify a turbo from the plate.
Pack the unit so the housings and the actuator cannot take a hit in transit. Say if the turbo is still on the car. Same-day collection is for agreed workshop pickups, not for every post box.
What is CHRA on this site?
In Italy many workshops say CHRA for the center housing. On TURBOCORE that part is always listed as CHRA. Same rotating assembly. Search the CHRA category, or ask for a rebuild when you want your own unit overhauled.
